Debbie Woodroffe with Bob Sedergreen & Friends

The Chandelier Room – Saturday 29th March, 2014.

This was rather special!  Being invited to play alongside some wonderfully talented and professional musicians.

Debbie invited both Kevin Blazé and me to join her, Bob Sedergreen, Ivan Rossa & Monique Zucco for a 45 minute set at the Chandelier Room.  Debbie had been approached by the owners after competing in the Kingston Arts Curtain Call competition.

I was very happy to accept this invitation – the evening was based around some lovely “Blues” tunes.

It was my first time at the Chandelier Room and it was lovely.

Later in the evening I was invited to join Rosey (Irish Folk/Pop Vocalist/Guitarist  ) on the stage for a lovely session.

Thankyou, Debbie for a great night – Just LOVED it!

Bluetone Jazz Band @ Half Moon – Brighton

bluetone jazz bandPrivate Wedding – Saturday 22nd March, 2014.

We played a nice mix of Traditional tunes to welcome the wedding guests to the reception.  The Bride and Groom arrived and were thrilled to hear the happy, toe tapping music.  We received so many positive comments from the guests.

It was a lovely afternoon spent with some really friendly musicians.  The venue was beautiful, I’d highly recommend going there again.

Melbourne Music Performers @ Francesca’s 21-03-2014

Enjoyed a great evening of LIVE music at the Soirée.  Everyone enjoyed the set program and in the open mic section we had some great performances.  Francesca’s is a great venue and we are very lucky to have so many wonderful members in the Melbourne Music Performers Group. IMG_2318

Our next Soirée will be held on Friday 25th April (Anzac Day).  It will commence at 7:00pm and we’ll finish up a little earlier at 11:00pm, due to licensing restrictions.  We’re also changing it up a little, having open mic opening the evening and also half way through.  So if you are looking for something to do on Anzac Day – evening – Francesca’s is the place to be, why not sign up to Melbourne Music Performers, it’s free to join and you’ll find out what we do and when, we’d love to see you at one of our events.

Jazz Notes @ Burrinja – Saturday 15th March, 2014

We’d put lots of work into preparation for this Burrinja Event.  The band was looking very sharp with their Jazz Note ties, Luella sang like an angel.  I’m pretty sure we all had a great time!

Appreciate the support from everyone who came and enjoyed the evening.

See you all again there soon…….

Rutherglen Festival of Dance with The Swingmasters

Rutherglen Festival of Dance – 30th February – 2nd March, 2014

What a wonderful weekend of music and dance we had.  Playing with The Swingmasters is always so much fun  Watching hundreds of beautiful people dancing so gracefully over the two nights was amazing.

The event was fully booked for the Friday and Saturday Nights where we played in the Memorial Hall.   We have been booked again for 2015.

Thank you to the organizing committee for putting on such a great event.

The Swingmasters, including me, will be playing for the Corowa Dance Festival in October this year.  So I’ll be looking forward to another great weekend.
