A First for Jazz Notes.

We applied and were accepted to play at one of the prestigious community stages.

The Wangaratta Jazz and Blues Festival has much history.� On a very warm day!

We lined the stage with our augmented Jazz Notes band.������� (photos – Marion Blaze)

……..and treated the crowd to a mix of jazz, funky soul and blues.� We all loved the experience and Wade was fantastic.

Halls Gap Jazz & Blues, playing with Jan Blake’s Body & Soul, Ann Craig Duo, Flute Vibes and 2 Gits, Pippa Wilson with Jazz Notes.

All these were great chances to perform great music to a very appreciative audience and my very special music friends.  xxxxxxx

Thank you to all the super band members for being involved.

 

We’ve been known to run our Friday night Soiree at Eltham but were very excited to be invited for some Sunday Jazz Sessions in 2016.

In July we had Wade Morgan & Paul Carter join us, in October there was no flute (but of course I was please to be replaced by the lovely Ashely Thomas) and we’ll be back in 2017.
