We were invited back to perform for one of the tour groups. This time we asked our friend Jan to play with us.

A fun morning of music with Jan, Ann, Kevin, Frank & Simon.

This was a great gig, and a wonderful preparation for our 2019 feature event in the Sunshine Coast.

The Jazz Notes Showband included Pippa, Ann, Kevin, Michael, Leon and Dean.

A fantastic night.

Occasionally we see some opportunities appear on Facebook for live recordings.

One came up that Kevin quickly jumped on and we ended up in a cool studio in South Melbourne.

Our Duo and Jazz Notes band with Rick Correnza performed to a live audience and were recorded.

The videos were fantastic and we were able to use the footage for some promo materials.

Seniors week is always well attended at the Australian Jazz Museum.

A really fun afternoon and good preparation for our upcoming gig on Queensland.

Maroondah City Council has some excellent performance spaces. We were invited to perform at REALM – the Ringwood Library. A lovely Sunday afternoon of music. It was Father’s Day and we met many new friends.

It was a quick dash to the Ringwood RSL after our gig for our Open Mic event with the House Cats. Simon, Ashley and Justin held the fort down for us and nobody missed us!

We love the chance to let the House Cats out. And for this special evening in August we were joined by Carol as our featured singer.

Thanks for having us at the Entertainers Club – Clayton and a special thank you to Bella for arranging our invitation.

We thought that Rick was a hit at the Australian Jazz Convention in 2018 and the Ballarat Jazz Club liked him too. We were contacted early in 2019 and invited to perform for the Ballarat Jazz Club in August.

We had a great time, the audience was very enthusiastic and Rick was fabulous.

An absolutely outstanding evening.

Rick had the audience eating out of his hand, you couldn’t hear a snowflake land when he sang the beautiful Christmas song.

It wasn’t all Christmas tunes, Rick sang some of his crooner and bossa favorites.

A special thank you to our helpers (elves) on the night, Ashley, Nerida & Marion. All helping to keep the night running smoothly.

And as always, a very special mention to Marion Blaze for taking the excellent photos on the night.

Risa had never been to the Australian Jazz Museum – Kevin knew they would love her beautiful voice and, as usual he was correct!.

Jazz Notes; Ann, Kevin, Doug and Simon backed Risa with some of her favorite tunes which were very well received by the large tour group.

Thanks to Barrie and all the staff at the AJM for inviting Jazz Notes to be the entertainment for the afternoon.

Jazz Notes has previously worked closely with Rylands for many of their corporate events.

We were recommended to Ear and Hearing for one of their special birthday events which was held at Rylands – Kew.

Ann, Kevin and David performed a cool section of Jazz favorites for the very appreciative audience.
